12 LCG flatbed trucks for sale. LCG rollback trucks provide a low load
and high dump angle along with a lower flatbed deck height of 5 inches
over conventional car carriers. The lower deck height allows for transportation
of taller loads, such as forklifts, and makes for easier securing for
transport since the loads are at arms length.
When mounted on most air ride tow truck chassis (with the air
dumped), 12 series LCG flatbed tow trucks have about an 11" load angle
- ideal for loading low clearance vehicles or equipment without using
ramps or wood. For fast and easy unloading of damaged vehicles or equipment,
the new 12 Series LCG car carriers have a 20" dump angle. 12 Series LCG
flatbed carriers and rollback tow trucks are available in 21', 21 1/2'
and 22' carrier deck lengths with a capacity of 12,000 lbs. and a wide
variety of options to fit your specific transport needs.
Miller Industries has just introduced their 12 series LCG rollback
trucks with an aluminum flatbed deck. Weighting about 1,500 lbs. less
than comparable steel carrier decks, the new aluminum flatbed tow trucks
for sale are available in 21', 21½', and 22' deck lengths with
a standard width of 102". Vulcan and Century LCG car carriers are
available with solid side rails or several different removable rail options.
The durable aluminum flatbed deck is constructed of aluminum extrusions
with 4" on center cross-member spacing and the new 12 series LCG
flatbeds' wheel lift provides 68" of reach with a 3,500 lb. lift
capacity.
Century & Vulcan 16 Series LCG Car Carriers
The LCG car carrier was first introduced in 20 and 30 series
flatbeds in 2008 and as 12 series rollback truck models in early 2009.
Now available in a 16,000 lb. series, these flatbed trucks for sale have
carrier deck lengths ranging from 21' to 26' with a 102" wide deck
with eleven key slots as standard.
The new 16 series rollback tow trucks for sale are designed
for chassis in the 26,000 lb. to 33,000 lb. GVW and sit 5" to 6"
lower, allowing for hauling taller loads, lower load angles, and securing
loads without the need for stretching or climbing onto the carrier deck.
The wheel lift on 16 series LCG car carriers has an impressive 72"
reach with a 4,000 lb. lift capacity. New flatbed tow trucks for sale
are also available with manual or hydraulic dock stabilizers as well as
many side rail, winch and pylon options.
20 & 30 Series LCG Rollback Carriers for Sale
 New
heavy duty LCG car carriers are available in deck lengths from 24-30 feet
with deck capacities of 20,000 or 30,000 lbs. LCG rollbacks are designed
to be mounted on a chassis equipped with super single rear wheels and
tires. These new flatbed tow trucks for sale use innovative patent pending
subframe design that allows the carrier deck to be mounted 5 - 6 inches
lower than comparable heavy duty rollbacks. Providing a load angle as
low as 11 degrees, LCG rollbacks are ideal for loading equipment and machinery.
The new rollback trucks for sale also provide better stability
against sway and rollover with heavier loads, and the ability to transport
taller loads. The LCG low deck height allows for transporting loads that
would be over height on traditional heavy duty rollback tow trucks, requiring
a trailer haul. These new rollbacks also provide increased safety with
the operator being able to secure most loads from the ground without the
need to climb up on the flatbed deck.
